Spotlight social is a monthly gathering for youth ministers, and those interested in working with young people in the Church, as well as Catechists, Priests, and Deacons.
Every month on the second Monday of the month, we come together online to talk about a particular issue relating to youth ministry. Although we have a theme for the discussion, this is very much an open forum, where we support and encourage each other as we strive to offer our best for the young people of our Church.
The sessions happen on Zoom, between 7.30 and 8.30. The benefit of meeting online makes it much easier to be able to keep in contact with groups and individuals from across the Diocese.
Our next session is on Monday, 11th October, where we will be looking at four key topics for sharing the faith with young people in the Church. Subsequent sessions will look at these topics individually, in more detail.
To help keep the chat secure, we do ask that you register your details with us, so we can send out the Zoom invite codes ahead of time. To register, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
The team at Nymo are also available to come and attend your parish for a personal meet-up, as a follow up to an online discussion or to discuss your own parish’s needs in a more detailed, personal basis.
If you would like a visit, please contact our youth ministry coordinator Jay Caracciolo, to make arrangements.
