What's the point of going to Mass...or Confession? How can a loving God allow suffering? And what does the Church actually say about divorce?
Have you ever found yourself wondering about this sort of stuff? All of these things are questions that have been looked at in our 'LUX. teachings' evenings.  Every month, 'LUX. teachings' comes to a different parish and we have a couple of hours of games, a talk, discussion, music and prayer and, very importantly, free takeaway! In fact the whole things is free. It's about having a good time with other young Catholics in your Pastoral Area, and exploring your faith. It's open to anyone aged 11 –18.

The next LUX.teachings is on Monday 2nd October, 7.15pm – 9.15pm at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Luton (the postcode is LU4 0NG)

This evening’s talk is called “Family values” and we’ll be exploring Amoris Laetitia: the Pope’s letter that followed the two recent Synods on
the family, in a fun and engaging way.

On the evening, young people must bring a consent form, signed by a parent or guardian. For more info email
