NYMO are pleased to invite young people to a number of residential retreats throughout the year: In the new year, NYMO organises the LUX. weekend, a retreat for 11 - 18 year olds. Retreatants experience church as community, whilst each year learning about a particular element of our Catholic faith, through engaging speakers, interactive workshops and a real variety of activities.

Take a look at what we got up to during Lux Mirth in February!

NYMO also announced a new opportunity for young men aged 13 -18 in our diocese, True Survivor: Beyond The Wild. The first weekend ran in the Easter holidays and NYMO were joined by Jimmy Mitchell and True Survivor's Will Hince on a spiritual survival course. Young men learned how to survive by purifying water, making fire, building shelter and also discovered the essential tools for survival that our Catholic faith gives us. Check out the blog to see how they got on!

During the summer holidays, NYMO join Life Teen and head to Alton Castle in Staffordshire for Summer Camp. Camp is a week of high-adrenaline outdoor adventure, as well as the chance closer to God through the Sacraments, times of prayer and hearing talks from international speakers.

NYMO also coordinate regular evenings hosted by parishes, LUX. teachings evenings where young people can share a meal, have fun and learn about a given element of our Catholic faith.
