Patron saint of racial justice
Katherine Drexel was born in Philadelphia and was the daughter of a wealthy philanthropist and entrepreneurs. She grew up in the faith, became a missionary, after the Pope suggested it to her, and eventually founded her own order Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament. She worked hard spreading the Gospel. After a heart attack she had to retire but carried on with her prayer life. She lived a life full of generosity and kindness.
